Robert Stein founded Stein-Perry Real Estate in 1981. Originally Robert Stein Real Estate, a co-op marketing arm of Mr. Stein's owner/management company, the company took its current name in 1988 when Gus Perry, a partner in the business since 1985, incorporated the business and became its owner and principal broker.

Stein-Perry Real Estate has its roots in Hudson Heights, Washington Heights and Inwood, where Robert Stein was the first to convert buildings into cooperatives. He was also instrumental in numerous conversions in the area, helping to build what has become the premier realty in Hudson Heights.

Located in its newly renovated office at 740 W. 181st St., Stein-Perry Real Estate is in the heart of Hudson Heights. We boast a staff of nine real estate professionals, all of whom reside in the neighborhood, and offer combined experience of over 50 years. Our superior knowledge of both local neighborhoods and the real estate market give us a competitive edge in today's market.

From the boom market of the 1980's to the shifting trends of the new millennium, our mission remains the same: to provide our clients with professional, honest, and knowledgeable advice and guide them successfully through the real estate process. With the support of the community, Stein-Perry Real Estate continues to grow and make local neighborhoods better places to live and work.
